YUMMIE FAKE FISH!

Confused about what this ‘fake fish’ is?

Well, it is a simple fish shaped apple pie.

It has nothing to do with animal products. Complete vegetarian, finger licking dish. With only a few ingredients you can make this delicious tart.

 

The ingredients that you need for making the dough:

Flours

FLOUR: 500 gm

Olive oil 125ml ( you can use vegetable oil too)

Raw-Almonds

Whole almond for making scales to give texture

For the fillings

 

Ginger-Garlic-Paste-1

Ginger ½ tsp

Cinnamon ½ tsp

Preparation

For making dough

You need to mix the flour with water, salt, and olive oil. If needed use more flour and liquid and mix it until it gets soft and smooth. Put the dough into freeze for an hour before using it.

For the fillings

Put the ingredients into blenders to mash it properly. After all this first preheat the oven at 200degree C. After that divide the dough into two halves. Take the first halves and cut out into an oval shape. Put the oval shaped dough into the baking tray then sprinkle the breadcrumbs on the dough. Now put the apple fillings in the dough then cut out another part of dough into oval shape place over the fillings. By using your hand press the dough softly to flat it from the top. Before placing it into oven cut out an eye hole and the hole near the tail section.  By using the leftover dough make the fins and tail and put it in the proper place. Then cut the whole almonds into halves and use it to give the texture of scale. Finally, bake it for 45 minutes in 200degree C.
