WHAT’S THE STORY ALL ABOUT?
The film relies on a brief story by the known author Bibhutibhusan Bandyopadhyay. It showcases two brothers namely Chottu and Gopal who belongs to a needful family of a Bengali village. Ten years old Gopal’s untroubled childhood gets ruined when his father faces an accident. It becomes very troublesome for his mother to feed him along with his brother Chottu on board. Gopal understands the situation and starts to earn some bucks for his family seeking minor assistance from Chottu. From well cleansing to fruit selling he did everything. Impressed by his initial success Gopal became the sole wage earner of his family. In the meantime, the Brahmin family plans a striking Janmashtami feast where they decide to offer delicious pulao to all the villagers. Hearing this Gopal makes a quick move to top off his pocket and decides to sell some palmyras for the feast. On the opposite hand, Chottu’s mouth started watering when he thinks about the finger licking dish which he has never experienced before.
This is a debut film of Manas Mukul Pal. Thus what? It made enough beats around the box office. Book a seat to watch the first show as a result of later you may not get a chance to do so.
