‘Xmas’ Gift From India’s PM

This Christmas becomes a memorabilia to all the NCR commuters. Travelling from Delhi to Noida has become a lot easier for the NCR commuters as Prime Minister Narendra Modi opens up the Delhi Metro’s Magenta Line today.
After flagging off the 12.64 km long stretch which links up the Botanical Garden in Noida with Kalkaji Mandir in south Delhi PM will address a meeting in Noida.
According to PTI reports, security marshalling were spruced up ahead of the launch and the Special Protection Group kept the premises under their magnifying glass.
Three helipads took the responsibility at Botanical Garden for surveillance in lofted mode. Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath additionally joined the party to scrutinize the security arrangements.
Today in the early morning tweet, PM Modi called Delhi-Metro Magenta line as an example of “Modernising Urban Transport”.
This is the third time that a metro line being inaugurated via the hands of India’s Prime Minister ‘Modi’ in 2017. The Prime Minister dedicated the Kochi Metro to the nation in the second quarter of this year followed by the Hyderabad Metro in the month of November.
